On the road again… Spring trout stocking season is o-fish-ally underway in New York! Ride along with one of DEC’s fish culturists as she stocks rainbow trout and brown trout in an urban water in downstate New York. DEC hatchery staff will stock almost 2 million catchable-size brook, brown, and rainbow trout in ponds and streams across the state from mid-March through early June which will provide abundant fishing opportunities- many of which that are close to home.
