We recently visited @marinasailingnb to experience their ASA 101 course. In this lesson we learned the fundamentals of docking and basic maneuvers under power. This video shows us practicing the pivot turn to maneuver our vessel out of tight quarters. ASA 101 teaches you the knowledge of basic sailing terminology, points of sail, buoyage, seamanship and safety including basic navigation rules. Our instructors could not have been better.
